The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body of the Christian faith established to aid, assist and advise the Parish Priest and the Parish Pastoral Council in matters pertaining to the overall fiscal operation of the parish.  The council serves to advise and review all matters regarding revenue, expenditures and parish investments.

Its main function is to assist the Parish Priest in the responsible planning and administering of all parish financial matters and to set the parish financial policy and procedures by providing effective management of parish assets.

The parish finance council is directed by the values of the Gospel as well as by good business practice. Efficient and effective use and management of parish resources must be measured as much by their contribution to the parish mission and ministry as by commonly accepted business standards.

St. Theresa’s Catholic Church Finance Council adheres to these guiding principles and is composed of seven elected parishioners and is headed by Kathy Dougherty, President. They meet regularly every third Monday of the month at the Little Flower Room of the church.
